What You'll Need
You will need the four components of this curriculum: the Lesson Plans, some Handouts, the Reader, and the Videos.
The Lesson Plans
The adaptable curriculum comes with lesson plans for nine 90-minutes sessions (or sixteen to eighteen 50-minutes sessions). You can shorten the story by skipping some of the topics, but you will need to do them all to fully cover the topic. You can download the Lesson Plans from the Permissions page.
Handouts
There are several handouts that are referred to in the Lesson Plans. You can download the handouts from the Permissions page.
The Reader
The Reader contains 16 essays on various issues related to the death penalty and several pages of resources. Some of these are used in class and some are assigned reading between classes. The Reader comes in both a regular print and a large print version. You can download the both version of the Reader from the Permissions page.
Multi-media
Some of the lessons call for the use of videos and/or some audio options. The videos are available for streaming from the Videos page. An explanation of how to find the audio options is in the Lesson Plans.
